Hej, I’m Hilmar,
management consultant for over 25 years. As partner and managing director of leading consulting companies, I have been involved in hundreds of projects both in Germany and abroad. I am a proven retail expert and advise entrepreneurs and leaders on strategic and business management issues.
As an advisor, mentor, impulse giver, start-up founder, entrepreneur, author and speaker, I make my practical expertise available in a variety of functions. Standard concepts are an abomination to me. Thinking without restrictions, on the other hand, is a highlight. Because this is the only way to find new solutions.
A good work-life balance is important to me. My home in Denmark allows me to go for long walks and jogs on the Baltic Sea and meditate in nature. A good basis for approaching consulting projects and mandates in a correspondingly focused and relaxed manner.

I have been involved in supervisory and advisory boards for over 20 years.
e.g. in co-operatives, purchase cooperations, fashion trade, publishing and congress management, also as chairman, and thus assume responsibility in the respective companies.
Mentor
Start-up founders, but also young entrepreneurs who continue businesses, are often bursting with new ideas. Not everything can be implemented. Some can only be implemented against tough resistance. As a mentor, I am aware of my special responsibility.
Impulsgeber
The retail sector is facing major challenges. Many companies have not yet sufficiently recognized the relevance of important topics such as sustainability or digitalisation for the future. This is where I act as an impulse generator.
